Salary: $80 - 90k + Super

Reporting to the Group Accounting Manager, this Senior Accountant will be responsible for all month end related duties including P&L reporting, Balance Sheet and Cash flow preparation as well as assisting in management commentaries. In addition to this you will assist in performance and variance analysis, as well as compliance issues relating to taxation obligations. This Senior Accountant will also be involved in the preparation of key stakeholder reports and you will have the opportunity to participate in team ad-hoc projects. This role will revolve around the preparation statutory half-year and year-end reports which include liaison with auditors.

- Maintaining and reporting on Fixed Assets and large CAPEX projects for the group
- Maintaining and reconciling leases and hire purchase registers for the Group - IFRS reporting
- Produce monthly, quarterly and annual statutory reports at a group level. i.e. Group Consolidations
- Produce monthly and quarterly management reports for the executive team
- Month end support for all subsidiaries and intercompany transactions
- Preparation of state and federal taxation for the group
- Support treasury function for the group
You are degree qualified in Accounting or Finance, and have fully completed or a part way through your CA. You have worked in a chartered firm (BIG4 or Mid-tier preferred) looking to make your first or second time move. Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Excel is highly desirable. You will benefit from being technically minded, understanding and working with IFRS and enjoy solving complex problems. This position is for the highly motivated with a strong work ethic as well as being a good team player. You will be the go-to person, developing your mentoring skills for the junior accounting staff. Excellent verbal and written skills are a must.
