Newly created role within buying department; drive analytics to promote sales growth
Reporting to the Commercial Director, this Senior Commercial Analyst will partner with stakeholders across the business to provide commercial and analytical support in relation to product performance for the organisation's core product portfolio.
On a day-to-day basis this Senior Commercial Analyst will be responsible for the provision of effective business decision support for the core product portfolio through the collation, extraction and analysis of data from multiple internal and external sources such as market data collection agencies. This will be done through the development of reporting tools, models and dashboard reports that will also assist with the budgeting, forecasting and reporting process.
In addition, this Senior Commercial Analyst will utilise their information to provide scenario and 'what if' analysis on key metrics such as volumetric movements, pricing and inventory turnover rates and their impact on sales performance of the core products portfolio on a regional or product line basis. This Senior Commercial Analyst will then be required to present the information to key stakeholders across the business.
This is a greenfield role, which will allow a commercially astute candidate with an extensive and proven record of accomplishment of analytical support to create a function of best practice from the modelling, reporting, compliance and analysis perspective.

- Drive a program of continuous improvement and best practice in business performance modelling, reporting and analysis
- Manage and develop a direct report
You are a qualified Analyst looking to grow your career and have the opportunity to build your leadership and business partnering skills. You bring excellent BI skills, particularly in MS Access, SQL and MS Excel VBA. A flair for disseminating and translating data into meaningful information for your stakeholders will set you up for the next stage in your career.
