Reporting to the Senior Accountant, this Assistant Accountant will be responsible for daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations such as balance sheet, overhead, and bank. You will be responsible for month end journals and accruals as well as assisting with month end management reporting. This Assistant Accountant will also be responsible for balance sheet movement analysis and ad-hoc tasks including allocations and bank statement preparations.
You will have previous experience in accounts payable or accounts receivables/accounts clerk. You will have intermediate knowledge in MS Excel and be able to perform pivot tables and vlookups. You have exposure to an environment with a high volume of transactions and experience with ERP systems such as JD Edwards or Microsoft AX Dynamics will be advantageous. Your strong verbal and written communication skills will benefit you strongly as you will be dealing with key internal stakeholders on a daily basis.
