Role Overview
This Payroll Manager will be joining the team on an initial 12 month temp assignment and be reporting into the Commercial Manager. Your overall mandate will be to manage critical imbursement calculations. You will be responsible for the calculation & processing for over 1,000 contractors weekly entitlements. As the Payroll Manager your duties will also include compliance with legislation, processing workers compensation and streamlining procedures. In addition to this, your role will see you setting up new starters with varying EBA rates, location multipliers and incentives as well as calculating complex commission structures. You must have a solid understanding of EBAs as well as being very confident with the use of various manual systems where you will be drawing data from.

Your communication skills must be one of your key strengths as you will be required to assist internal and external customers with payroll related queries.   • Process weekly corporate imbursements / commissions of 1000 + contractors
  • Maintaining contractor files and records
  • Award interpretation
  • Work with stakeholders across the business and providing excellent customer service
  • Management of mail box inquiries and all incoming communication from corporate contractors.
  • Provide insightful reporting for head count reporting and other payroll/HR insights for the workforce

Candidate Profile
You are currently a Payroll Manager or Senior Payroll Officer with solid experience in all aspects of corporate, high volume, payroll and payroll accounting. You feel comfortable in working within a team can excel in a fast paced environment. You have a proven background in complex payroll environments where multiple EBAs and complex calculations are required, so advanced excel skills are required. You will have an excellent ability to work with finance and HR stakeholders at all levels. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are imperative to this role. Those who fit the brief will start immediately.
