The Company

This Group Reporting Manager will directly support the Financial Controller with month end, reporting requirements including consolidation of the group's financial results and provide technical and statutory support to the business units. The Job

Reporting to the Financial Controller, this Group Reporting Manager will take full ownership for the financial accounting aspects of the corporate reporting function and consolidated entities. You will be responsibility for drafting the technical papers in regards to impairment testing for goodwill, intangibles and investment in subsidiaries, business divestment and organisation restructure.

Your daily responsibilities will be pivotal to the financial integrity of the group's financial statements in line with IFRS regulatory requirements and USGAAP; You will be responsible for month end reporting and cash flow requirements. As you are responsible for the group consolidation you will be required to reconcile adjustments for each entity. You will be required to perform monthly group consolidations and preparation of statutory entity and group financial statements. You will be required to provide taxation effect accounting for the group, including calculations on both a monthly and annually basis. As the Group Reporting Manager, you will also establish and maintain relationships with the wider business, including finance and commercial managers in developing and submitting management packs to them. You will also be responsible for monitoring the solvency and the company's working capital, allowing you to report on loan covenant issues.

You will ensure that the standard operating procedures for all financial reporting functions are working effectively and are compliant with IFRS and USGAAP.

Your expertise and in-depth knowledge of technical accounting principles will also enable you to play a vital role in decision making, as your guidance on accounting treatment and technical and complex transactions will be highly sought after.

Candidate Profile

You are a self-starter who is CA or CPA qualified. You may be currently working in the commercial environment and possibly have training from a Big 4 or mid-tier Chartered practice, or you may be a first mover. You possess and solid background in financial reporting and accounting and as a result have in-depth knowledge of technical accounting standards and are able to provide resolutions to complex accounting transactions.

You bring fantastic energy in working with your business partners with strong communication and engagement skills. You are able to engage with stakeholders at all levels including senior management in shaping business integrity and performance outcomes.
