Role Overview
Reporting to the Financial Controller, this Graduate Accountant will be provided comprehensive training and will originally commence in a transactional role supporting the Accounts Payable team. Once the Graduate Accountant has mastered the Accounts Payable process they will be fast tracked into an Assistant Accountant role. On a daily basis, you will be responsible for payment processing, data entry and filing. You will also be involved in other accounts payable related projects as required. As your development progresses, you will start to assist the wider Finance team with accounting tasks such as financial analysis, month end reporting and providing commercial support to the General Managers. This organisation is growing at a double digit pace hence this is a brilliant opportunity for an ambitious Graduate Accountant to make their make and grow at their pace.

The Job

  • Daily processing of invoices, payments and remittances
  • Administration and filing of all invoices and accounting records
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Assist with the completion of month end
  • Process journals and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Conduct analysis of the P&L and present results to the business leadership team
  • Cross functional communication with stakeholders at varying levels and maintaining relationships


Candidate Profile
You are currently degree qualified and are seeking a role where you will have the ability to learn and grow into a Financial or Management Accountant position at a fast tracked pace. You will need to display a strong blend of organisation and communication skills both verbally and written and have high attention to detail. Some finance processing experience will be highly regarded however this is not mandatory within the selection criteria. Academically you have excelled at university and possess a strong drive for career growth and development.
