Role Overview

Reporting into the Financial Controller, the Finance Manager will take full ownership of the regions financial accounting and reporting function for this subsidiary within this diversified ASX 100 listed. This individual will be a motivated and collaborative team player who will enjoy driving month end to a close and look to re-surface out of month end to deliver operational value back into the business. You will be instrumental in building the finance function for the future as with being influential of the cultural fabric of how the finance team collaborates across the stakeholder group.


As the Finance Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Leading and managing your team of 3 to deliver month end, preparation of financial reports, analysis and commentary
  • Supporting Mergers and Acquisitions through the financial integration of master data and commercial policies
  • Maintaining the GL & Balance Sheet Reconciliations
  • Tax Compliance
  • Supporting the external audit process and co-ordination with external auditors

Candidate Profile

You are an experienced Senior Financial Accountant with CA/CPA qualifications working within a commercial environment looking to build on your technical ability and managerial skills in a top ASX listed organisation. Your experience with financial accounting coupled with your excellent ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels within an organisation will enable you to be successful within this role.

You will ideally have some exposure to statutory reporting working within a mid-tier or Big 4 environment. Technically, your skills are strong and you are currently looking to enter an organisation that can challenge you to constantly make efficiency gains via process improvements. Your verbal and written communication skills are one of your strengths along with proficiency in Excel.
