Role Overview

With significant recent business growth and an IPO pending, this Finance Manager is a position that would require a finance leader with strong financial reporting skills who has a track record in being comfortable with group consolidations and with great people management skill. This role will see you leading group consolidated reporting, corporate governance, and support the CFO with board reporting. This position will provide the successful candidate an exciting opportunity to grow in an organisation that is dynamic and looking to scale aggressively. As a result of recent significant growth, the successful individual needs to be career minded as this role has a strong progression path into a commercial leadership role.

Technical competence, coupled with a passion for leading best practice reporting and a commercial partnering mindset will set you apart in being successful for this role. The ideal candidate will have a proven background from a Big 4 firm and is currently seeking a move into an start up style environment where workflows are fast paced and rewarding.

Responsibilities

As the Finance Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Establish the external financial reporting processes, with a framework to deliver to ASX reporting requirements
  • Manage the external audit relationship to deliver an efficient and cost effective audit
  • Lead compliance for both direct and indirect tax
  • Set and promote group accounting policies, including training key stakeholder groups of reporting impacts
  • Review the current financial systems and project manage the implementation of a new ERP.

Candidate Profile

You are currently CA or CPA qualified with significant experience in Statutory Reporting for an ASX listed entity and comfortable in performing group consolidations.

Ideally you will have previous audit experience and have strong experience reporting for an ASX listed with proven capability in delivering to tight deadlines.

Your verbal and written communication skills are one of your strengths and can articulate accounting concepts well to non-accounting stakeholder groups.
