The Job

An exciting opportunity is currently available for a Customer Service Team Leader to join the team. The position will see you leading and developing a team of staff and will require you to have previous experience in a product-based environment. This role is extremely varied and fast paced and will see you leading a sizable team of 7 and dealing with customer enquiries over the phone. You will be required to ensure the KPI targets are met, orders are completed within deadline and all enquiries including escalations are closed out by day-end. You will be required to lead, motivate and engage staff and provide 1 on 1 mentoring sessions.

This role has a strong leadership focus however you need to be prepared to assist the customer service team when they are short staffed.

Candidate Profile

You have previous Customer Service Team Leader or Management experience in a product based, sales KPI driven environment and obtains proven experience managing and developing their team. You have outstanding communication skills and the ability to work through issues and manage your time effectively. You have experience in a busy environment where no two days are the same. This role requires a strong leader who isn’t afraid of a challenge and who has the ability to multi-task and prioritise work flow. This role is high demanding; we need a leader who is hard working, customer focussed, has a strong track record for meeting targets and promotes strong team engagement. This organisation wants someone who celebrates the wins.

You have an intermediate to advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel & Word, SAP experience is highly desirable.
