Role Overview
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, this Corporate Finance Manager - Projects will be responsible for the delivery of the completion balance sheet for a Chinese based subsidiary business. As the Corporate Finance Manager - Projects, you will supervise and review the work of a Financial Accountant who is responsible for general ledger maintenance. The work that you will be perform will require an investigative mindset and will often be hands on in its nature. As the Corporate Finance Manager - Projects, your ultimate aim is to ensure that a clean set of financial accounts are produced in a timely manner to support the sale of a subsidiary business.

The Job
* Review all balance sheet accounts for accuracy and integrity
* Ensure all sub ledger balances are reconciled to the general ledger
* Ensure all balances are in line with IFRS and internal accounting policy
* Prepare a final set of Statutory Accounting including P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Statements

Candidate Profile
You are currently CA/CPA qualified and have gained your technical accounting training from a Big 4 or Mid-Tier Chartered Accounting firm. Ideally, you have solid operational accounting experience specifically in the space of statutory reporting and balance sheet compliance. Your technical accounting skill is your strongest asset and you have a very keen eye for detail. Any previous experience divestment accounting will be highly regarded.

Note - You must be a confident mandarin speaker and hold a passport that will allow you to work in China for 3 - 6 months.
