Salary: Excellent Hourly Rate $25 - $40 p/h +Super

Duration: 3 Month Temp Assignment

Role Overview

As the Administrative Assistant you will report directly to the Buying manager. Your role is crucial to the buying department as they are currently under the pump and are keen for an experienced Administrative Assistant to hit the ground running and not be afraid to get their hands dirty.

On a day-to-day basis you will liaise with clients and suppliers. You will have daily interaction with other staff to co-ordinate requests and handle a wide range of issues that have been directed from head office to your business unit. This is a busy role and will give the successful Administrative Assistant an excellent opportunity to grow and work with some of the highest quality products for a growing and very reputable organisation.

The Job

As the Administrative Assistant your duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Reception duties
  • Ensure relevant administrative tasks are completed in a timely manner
  • Ensure samples are ordered/obtained ready for Product Selection meeting
  • Attend and contribute to the Product Selection meeting as Buying team support where appropriate
  • Recruitment - Screening resumes, booking in interviews
  • Client liaison and maintenance of the client database
  • Complete ad hoc tasks as required

Candidate Profile

You are currently an Administrative Assistant with extensive experience supporting a team. You are a super organised individual with a vibrant and energetic personality. As the Administrative Assistant you have a 'can do' attitude and are ready to hit the ground running. You will possess strong excel skills and can work as part of a team as well as autonomously. Ideally you will have had some experience with recruitment (putting up ads, screening and booking interviews) but this is not essential. As the Administrative Assistant you are highly motivated and have great initiative. You will also be available to start immediately.
