This leading ASX Financial Services giant is seeking a Business Analyst to join their finance team based in Parramatta. They are a leading force within their sector and are continuing to grow and gain market share. To support the growth, a new ERP is currently being implemented and hence a role has been created for an experienced Business Analyst to support the Finance Manager with data migration testing, UAT and user training. This is an excellent opportunity to do a short term project with an organisation that is embarking on an exciting phase of growth.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, this Business Analyst with play a key role in ensuring a smooth transition to the new ERP for the organisation. This is a 100% project based role where your day to day responsibilities will include conducting reconciliations to ensure smooth data migration, cut-off testing and data integrity checks to ensure that the master files are brought across correctly. This Business Analyst will be required to identify the flow of data to ensure correct mapping of transactions in the new general ledger systems. You will work closely with the Finance Manager in assisting with planning procedures and controls during the implementation period.
Another major focus of this Business Analyst will be to drive and facilitate UAT as well as the training program for the new users. These duties will be performed with the support of an external consulting team.

This Business Analyst will have extensive general accounting experience ideally within reconcoliations and reporting and must have previous experience within system implementations or ERP migrations. Alternatively you are at a super user level with a large ERP (ideally SAP) and are looking to develop your project skills in a large and complex organisation. The successful Business Analyst will benefit from a strong problem solving background. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal are a must as a large aspect of this position will require you to communicate and engage with internal and external stakeholders.
