Role: Drive critical financial and commercial decision support across the business.

Role Overview

Reporting to the Senior FP&A Analyst, this Assistant FP&A Analyst work in a small team and partner with stakeholders across the business to provide commercial and analytical support in relation to the group's business performance and future growth strategies. This role will predominantly support the Budget and Reporting team and cost centre managers in the preparation of all budgets, capex, plans and forecasts. The purpose of the role is to ensure that the divisional submissions are received in a timely manner so that budgets, capex, plans and forecasts are completed within the required timeframes.

On a day to day basis, this Assistant FP&A Analyst will be responsible for the preparation of weekly and monthly management reports summarising operating results. From a corporate perspective your work will extend to assisting the senior management team in coordinating and preparing annual budgets, the 12-months rolling forecasts and strategic planning. From a reporting perspective this FP&A Analyst will be responsible for the preparation of the monthly P&L and Balance sheet results across the regional business.


Candidate Profile

You are a CA/CPA qualified, Financial or Management Accountant with some experience with supporting the budgeting and forecasting process for a large and complex business. You excel skills are extremely strong and you are comfortable in working with large and complex spreadsheets. Experience with BI tools such as TM1 will be highly regarded but not a must have. You have the ability to work with stakeholders at all levels and your ability to build relationships has been integral to your success to date. Your verbal and written communication skills are one of your key strengths as part of the role includes presentation of results to stakeholders across the business.
