Location: Western Sydney with parking on-site
Salary package: $60 - 70k + Super + Study Support

Career Progression: This role will progress into a Management Accountant once the ERP projects is complete; 18 - 24 months
Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, Project Lead this Assistant Accountant will be responsible for assisting with a project implementation of a new ERP System plus meet the business's month and year end finance requirements in a fast paced environment.
Your Project responsibilities will include business process mapping, testing, data verification, training manuals, and project budget reporting.
Your month end responsibilities will include assisting the divisional entities with preparing balance sheet reconciliations and journals. In addition to this you will be required to assist with variance reporting, and taking part in stocktakes. You will also report at the Group level, assiting the team with the half yearly and year end reporting requirements.
This role will be fast paced so it will suit a dynamic Assistant Accountant with exceptional time management. You will have to be agile as this role will see you bounce in and out of multiple company subsidiaries assisting with their month end between the breaks in the ERP project rollout.
You will be exposed to the greater business, a larger breadth of works which will enable you to climb the corporate ladder quickly.
- 50% ERP Project; documentation, testing, data verification, training, process mapping, meetings, budget reporting, etc.
- Assisting with month end; preparation of journals and balance sheet reconciliations
- Provide support at stocktake
- Assist with weekly, monthly reports; sales, operational, etc
- Assist with tax and compliance
- Assist with asset and lease registers
- Provide half/full year end assistance to the Group
You are an Assistant Accountant with a Business Degree qualification and you are part way through or have fully completed your CA/CPA. You must have strong transcripts with zero or only one fail (Transcripts will be supplied to our client). You must be proficient with a large ERP system, excel and possess strong communication skills. You will also be required to exhibit strong time management skills and present a strong team focus to achieve the company vision. The successful candidate must have a willingness to learn and develop with a passion for continuous improvement.
