Salary: $60k - $65k + Super

Reporting to the Finance Manager, this Assistant Accountant will be responsible for the overall key performance of the business unit needs including weekly and monthly reporting and integrity of the general ledger.
In order to be successful for this role, you need to be a strong communicator and have the confidence and passion to liaise with internal and external stakeholders to create effective results for the business.
You will be responsible for the following duties:
- Month end reporting process
- Processing journals
- GL reconcilations
- Balance sheet reconcilations
- Taxation including FBT
- Process improvement and innovation
- Business partnering and building strong relationships
You are a high achieiving Assistant Accountant who has a strong background in a fast paced team environment within a medium to large size enterprise. You have completed a tertiary degree in Accounting/Finance. You are studying towards or planning to pursue your CA/CPA. You have strong excel skills. With your strong and robust communication skills, you will be heavily liasiing with internal and external key stakeholders to provide effective and efficient results.
