Salary: $28-$30ph + Super

Role Overview / Description
Reporting to the AP Manager, this Accounts Payable Officer will be responsible for ensuring all payments are processed in a timely and accurate manner. You will perform a high volume AP function which will include the processing; matching, batching, coding and uploading of invoices. You will be responsible for the overall duties of processing and reconciliation of supplier payments.On a monthly basis, the successful Accounts Payable Officer will be assisting in month end reporting and supplier payment reconciliations. On a weekly basis, you will be responsible for the accurate weekly payment runs and cash flow for the ongoing supplier commitments. On a daily basis, you will have primary responsibility to operate invoices and payments with the use of your effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ensure all payments are processed in a timely and accurate manner
- Process a high volume of invoices and check approvals
- Asset coding
- Perform Accounts Payable reconciliations
- Assist with the weekly pay run
- Resolve issues arising from supplier invoices and payments
- Liaise with stakeholders across the business and provide excellent customer service
The successful Accounts Payable Officer will have demonstrated extensive experience in a full function Accounts Payable role in a high volume environment. Your data entry speed and accuracy are second to none. You are very comfortable with the use of Excel and are an intermediate level user. You have excellent attention to detail, a high level of accuracy and outstanding communication skills as you will be liaising with customers and answering their enquiries in a professional manner. You are dedicated and highly motivated with the enthusiasm to meet deadlines and perform to the best of your ability.
