As an Accounts Officer you will have come from an Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable background. You will be directly reporting to the Finance Manager and be part of a team to deliver on responsibilities in a timely manner. You will be responsible for end to end Accounts Payable duties including processing invoices and data entry. Your role is to ensure the organisation' compliance with relevant credit policies and standards. Your role emphasises your ability to effectively communicate with customer and key stakeholders. In doing so, you will also be involved in the data entry for invoices internal to the organisation manually. As an Accounts Officer you will ensure that payments are made on time. Your role involves the management of adhoc and administration duties. You will be part of a team in allocations and customers' accounts. To be successful in the organisation, you must have experience in processing invoices. You must also have exposure to Microsoft based data systems and ERP systems. You will have demonstrated your ability to work well in fast paced environment and handle difficult situations which will lead to your success.
In order to be successful for this role you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Responsible for data entry duties for invoice processing
- Effectively manage Accounts Receivable allocations to customer accounts
- Handling and critically analysing a debtors list for upcoming invoices and payments
- Effectively managing system issues promptly aligned with company standards and policies accordingly
- Maintaining month end duties
- General adhoc tasks and administration tasks
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to identify resolutions for overdue accounts
- Responsible for managing of end to end Accounts Payables functions
- Assist in the management of stocktake and processing invoices in a timely manner
As an Accounts Officer you will come from a diverse Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable background. Previous experience in both accounts payable and accounts receivable is essential. This Accounts Officer is able to clearly communicate with customers over the phone and internal stakeholders. A successful candidate, will have demonstrated your ability to process invoices in a timely manner in a fast paced environment. You must also be familiar with Microsoft (PC based) software and database systems. The successful candidate will possess strong communication skills and is able to work effectively in a team environment.
